Homework tonight (this weekend)

Your homework 'worksheet' is on edmodo. Enjoy!

If you have the highest score submited before the Broncos game starts at 2:30, you will get a homework pass. DO NOT forget to include a score for your game prediction. This is what will be used for any tie breakers.

Write a Report

Write a report about strategies for writing the least possible quantity using four numbers.

Consider the following ideas as you look at the strategies in Dealing Down.
1) Operating with negative and positive numbers (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing)
Note: include all algorithms that we discussed in class.
2) Order of operating including the use of parentheses and exponents
3) Commutative property of addition and multiplication
4) Distributive property

When doing mathematical writing, you need to have example problems that you explain how to solve and finally, make sure you explain your strategy when playing the game.  It is always a good idea to read the grading rubric first before you write the report.
